Venezuela reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining an equitable and fair oil market before OPEC (+OPEC)

The Executive Vice President and Minister of the People's Power of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, participated by videoconference in the 62nd Meeting of the Ministerial Joint Monitoring Committee of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and OPEC+, where they reviewed the most recent actions in the global oil market of the member countries participating in the declaration of cooperation.
During this meeting, through videoconference, the authorities evaluated the crude oil production data for July and August 2025, as well as the monitoring of compliance with the production adjustments agreed at the thirty-eighth ministerial meeting of OPEC and the member countries of OPEC+.
Rodríguez, in his speech, reaffirmed Venezuela's commitment to OPEC to maintain, despite trade tensions, geopolitical challenges and sanctions, an equitable and fair oil market that benefits the peoples of the world and adapts to the energy transition.
