A shipment with a total of 18,685 kilograms of medical supplies and medical supplies arrived in the national territory from Panama, with the strategic objective of strengthening comprehensive care schemes aimed at communities and families affected by the earthquakes recorded last June 24.
Diplomatic authorities reported that this logistical resource is consolidated as a fundamental part of the cooperation and solidarity support mechanisms activated bilaterally between the two nations, allowing for the immediate strengthening of inventories of medicines and healing materials for health contingencies.
The ambassador to France who attended Andorra and Monaco, Samuel Moncada, formally received the humanitarian shipment on behalf of the national Government, an opportunity in which he extended recognition to the solidarity of the Panamanian people and authorities in times of difficulty, reaffirming the historic bonds of fraternity and mutual assistance that characterize relations in the region.
Government offices specified that all the medical supplies received will be immediately distributed in the geographical areas that suffered the greatest structural impacts, ensuring efficient logistical deployment to supply the health fronts and emergency brigades that continue to operate continuously on the ground.
