Venezuelan delegation in Rome reopens Simon Bolivar Park on Monte Sacro

From her social networks, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Teresa Meléndez, reported on the re-inauguration of Simon Bolivar Park, in Rome, on Monte Sacro, together with the local president, Paolo Emilio Marchionne.
“220 years after the oath in which
the Father of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar, assumed here the commitment to dedicate his life to the independence
of the Spanish yoke, we honor his
memory with these spaces, transformed into cooperation between both
nations, and in which Venezuelan music played on October 18, with national pride,” said the senior official from her social networks.
Meléndez noted that the area has areas for pets, called Parque
Nevado, and children's areas, or Simoncito Park, reflect the transcendence of Bolivarian thought, which drives the actions
of solidarity movements
, as well as of the Venezuelan and Montesacro communities.
“Venezuela loves peace and union between countries, so
we also honor our first two Venezuelan saints, who in
hours will be recognized by the entire world, after the
canonization ceremony to be held in St. Peter's Square, in the Vatican,” the mayor of
