Venezuelan delegation visits Yangshan Deepwater Port in Shanghai

The Venezuelan delegation led by the Minister of the People's Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, and the president of Marca País, Daniella Cabello, took a tour of the Yangshan Deepwater Port, located in the coastal city of Shanghai, China.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), these actions are part of the agenda of activities being promoted in the People's Republic of China within the framework of the VII International Import Fair.

Through its Telegram channel, the ministerial portfolio of Fisheries and Aquaculture highlighted that the visit of the authorities of the National Government is taking place in connection with the participation of Venezuela in the VII International Import Fair of China, to show the country's productive potential.

The Yangshan Deepwater Port has the capacity to handle 40 million containers per year, and has an intelligent, automated and individual terminal; a milestone in the updating and efficiency of the mode of operation and application of technology in the port industry of the Asian giant.

The People's Republic of China gives an example of its evolution in container handling and the automation of international trade. In this way, its industry is strengthened for import and export in the world and, in this sense, the Bolivarian Government promotes productive agreements to bring new technologies to boost domestic production.
