The parathletics team won five medals in the Tunisian Adapted Athletics Grand Prix and ranked as the second best Latin country in the Tunisian joust, with one gold medal and four bronze medals

On the last day, Venezuelans won three new podiums in track and field events.

Luis Felipe Rodríguez opened the international season in the 400-meter T20 class with a bronze medal, recording the third fastest time of the race with 50.51.

The distance was led by the Indonesian Alfin Nomleni (49.25) and in second place was the Cuban York Lázaro Suárez (50.08), according to the press release of the Ministry of Sport.

For his part, the thrower Henry Véliz repeated the feat, and he hung bronze metal on the F57 category javelin with an attempt of 32.67m. He was surpassed by the Indonesian Fauzi Purwolaksono, with 42.13, and I Kadek Dwi Purwana, with 36.01, gold and silver medals, respectively.

Meanwhile, the parathlete Franklin Bracho won the third bronze medal of the day in the F11 class discus throw, with 32.11, and his Indian counterpart Monu Ghangas won the race by scoring 34.98 m as the best attempt, accompanied by Clement Yuh Ndim, from Cameroon, with 33.46.

Also on this day, the national Romy Rodríguez won fifth place in the F42-44 class javelin with 52.05 m.

In the general classification, the Venezuelan team was the second best Latin country, finishing in 26th place behind the Chilean national team, which won one gold medal and three silver medals and ranked 22nd in the final table.
