The Venezuelan softball team crushed Czechia 11-2 and won their way to the semifinals of the World Games Chengdu, China 2025

For the Venezuelan offensive, Engelbert Herrera and Captain Rafael Flores stood out, who hit home runs, supporting Luis Colombo's successful work on the mound.

The only stripe of the Czechs came through Martin Turek who produced a single, then came in third with an uncontrolled release and hit home with Jacub Vasisek's driving force.

The ninth Venezuelan will face the United States in the semifinals on Saturday, August 9.

The United States had the most fearsome offense of the tournament and topped Group A after beating Singapore 15-2, Canada 6-3 and Australia 3-14.

On the other hand, Venezuela defeated Argentina 3-2 on the way, fell to Japan 10-3 and beat Czechia 1.

The other semifinal of the tournament will pit Japan against Canada.
