Students from different universities in the country mobilized this Friday, from Plaza Morelos in Fine Arts to the Miraflores Palace, in a big march to commemorate the National Day of University Students and to vindicate the transformative role of student groups.
One of the young women who participated in this activity is Yamilexis Trebol, who assured, in statements to Venezolana de Televisión, that currently the objectives of this new youth movement are student demands and a massive unification, throughout the country, of universities regardless of whether they are autonomous, experimental, among others.
“Right now we can categorically say that the Venezuelan university is only one,” he emphasized.
For his part, Anyerli Rivero, a student at the Experimental Security University, stressed that our country has young people who are training every day to contribute to national development in the future. “Venezuela is a country that has young people with the capacity to learn any area, young people committed to our country and we will defend our country against all odds.”
In this regard, Rivero urged young people to close ranks in favor of Venezuela and defend it despite the foreign threats currently looming against our country.
For his part, Diego Rondón, a young man from the state of Trujillo, emphasized, when interviewed by VTV, the achievements achieved in the classroom. “We are grateful to the Government of Nicolás Maduro for its support for education, it is something that benefits all the young people who take this career (medicine). Thank God we have this support,” he said.
For her part, Yeskarly Arllo, since the mobilization, highlighted that teaching staff also contribute to inculcating love for the country.
“I am part of the University of Health Sciences, which has given me the opportunity to follow and do my bit to this beautiful country, such as Venezuela, and every teacher teaches us to fight against that hatred that exists against Venezuela, that siege and all the bad things they want to do against this country,” he said
