Venezuelan weightlifting has four bronze medals in the Pan American Senior Championship

The national weightlifting team has four bronze medals in the Pan American Senior Championship held in Cali, Colombia.
Guaire's Ederlin Ulacio was pleasantly surprised during the starting test in the 48 kg division, in her international debut in the senior category and at only 17 years old, she won bronze with 75 kg.
The race was dominated by the Dominican Dahiana Ortiz with 85 kg, followed by the Brazilian Rosa Emily with 77 kg.
The Venezuelan Patricia Marcano won bronze with 174 kg. The podium was led by Dahiana Ortiz, lifting 190 kilograms and the second place was achieved by the Brazilian Rosa Emilia with 177 kg.
In the two-stroke mode, Dahiana Ortiz reaffirmed her superiority by lifting 105 kilograms. Brazil's Rosa Emilia took second place with 100 kg, while Venezuela's Marcano took bronze with 99 kg, according to the Ministry of Sport press.
On the other hand, in the 60-kilogram men's division, Angelo Solórzano from Apurea secured third place starting by lifting 111 kg. The champion of this sport was the American Chunn Gabriel (123 kg), followed by the Brazilian Mathe us Diniz.
