Vice President Delcy Rodríguez reported an increase of 16.33% in mobilization during Easter

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Monday that the mobilization of the People increased by 16.33% during Holy Week 2025, compared to holidays last year.

“The Venezuelan people turned to healthy leisure, to visiting tourist sites and we must share the good news of an increase compared to the Major Week of 2024, which translates into 16.33%. More than 12 million 353 thousand people were mobilized throughout the national territory,” Rodríguez explained during the balance sheet of Safe Holy Week 2025.

He highlighted the work of the State security agencies that guaranteed the mobilization of a country, “in a way that was done, in peace, orderly, coordinated and for the enjoyment of our people, those who went to the beaches, those who went to the mountains, to tourist sites.”

Rodríguez pointed out that the increase in mobilization was accompanied by economic activity. “The average hotel occupancy across the country was 80%. However, there are places that stood out with 100% occupancy, such as Canaima, such as Los Roques, such as Morrocoy,” he said.

He added that the main tourist destination was the beach. “The first state of Falcón, the state of La Guaira, Miranda, Aragua, Anzoátegui stood out among the first (...) and I really feel very happy, very pleased to be able to give a balance that means the determination of a people whose space of enjoyment has been wanted to sabotage by extremism (...) the Venezuelan people have planted themselves with their happiness, with their joy, with their spirituality, with their retreat to enjoy this Major Week,” he emphasized.
