Vice President Rodríguez assured that no aggression will be allowed on anyone inside or outside Venezuela

This Monday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, participated in the Meeting with the nation's Diplomatic Corps of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace. During his speech, he rejected the stateless attitude of those who call for invasions and sanctions against the nation.

“No one, inside or outside Venezuela, will be allowed to promote external aggression against Venezuela, and will be judged according to the laws established in the Constitution,” the executive vice president told those who promote hatred against the country.

He also assured that the Foreign Commission Decree allows President Nicolás Maduro to “act in defense and security matters and defend Venezuela”, if the military forces of the United States (US) “dare to attack our Homeland”.

If this happens, “that the president, as Head of State, has special powers as contemplated in the Constitution to mobilize the entire Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) throughout our territory”, this also includes the protection of the company, the basic industry and hydrocarbons.

He also stressed that the Bolivarian National Militia is being activated to protect the integrity of the population, and with the Decree of the External Commission it would constitute the closure of borders.

So far, chapters have been installed corresponding to the 24 entities of the nation, the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, with the participation of the country's social sectors and 54 political parties, with the intention of creating spaces that promote initiatives to defend peace.
