Vice President Rodríguez met with the Bicentennial Commission of the Battle of Ayacucho

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez ñ, reported that on the afternoon of this Monday, November 11, she met with the Bicentennial Commission of the
Battle of Ayacucho to refine all the details and preparations
for the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of this historic feat, to be held on December 9.
“At the meeting, the
institutions involved discussed the activities that
will be carried out in the communication, cultural and educational fields to
enhance the historical impact of this Battle, contributing to the
preservation of its legacy of dignity and Latin American unity in the memory of the
Venezuelan people,” he said.
In that regard, he noted that the commemoration of the Bicentennial of Ayacucho, which sealed the definitive independence of South America from the Spanish empire, takes on a meaning of great relevance today to vindicate the struggle of the Venezuelan people, undeniable in their spirit of continuing to exist as a free and sovereign nation, in the face of any hegemon.
