The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, expressed this Thursday the satisfaction of having Chinese investors as guests in Venezuela within the framework of the 25th Edition of the World Forum on Special Economic Zones and the Transition to New Economic Models, adding that this reaffirms the deepening of China-Venezuela relations.
“I want to thank you again for your presence in Venezuela, we are truly and extremely honored that Venezuela has been selected for the 25th edition of this World Forum of Special Economic Zones because it reveals the level of our relationship, which, as Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Xi Jinping said (...) 'it's a relationship that's all the time and the test of it',” said Rodríguez.
He also highlighted everything that Venezuela has learned from China. “Another lesson that China's growth model has left us is to focus on human talent in people, on their education, on innovation, on development, on investment in science and technology,” he said.
He reaffirmed that Venezuela's growth model “is not one for the enrichment and concentration of large capital and capital that makes a monopoly to run the world in an inadequate way, but it is for growth in favor of people's happiness”.
For this reason, he emphasized that “Venezuela will remain on the path of happiness, for a future of peace, of tranquility for our people and of national unity, to work together for growth, development and for the sake of the Venezuelan people.”
