Vice President Rodríguez: Popular Power must be consolidated with direct and participatory democracy

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, called on governors, governors, mayors and mayors to understand that the new scenario that Venezuela is proposing is to listen to the different positions and where Popular Power is consolidated with direct and participatory democracy.
In this regard, he specified that with the 1x10 System Platform of Good Governance, resources will be optimally distributed and greater efficiency will be made in the execution of the projects chosen by the People.
The proposal was made at the Miraflores Palace, where the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led the session of the Federal Governing Council: Working meeting with governors, governors, mayors and mayors.
He also argued that 53% of Value Added Tax (VAT), “has been addressed to the inquiries of national projects. We are working to ensure that there is an effective and necessary articulation to serve the People.”
“Thanks to the Popular Consultations, we have a better view of the real needs in communities. This new scenario has allowed the consolidation of Popular Power,” he said.
