Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified President Nicolás Maduro's
commitment to boosting
domestic production and industry, during her visit to the company Footwear Discovery, located in the La Silsa
sector on January 23.
“We ratify the
commitment of President Nicolás Maduro Moros to accompany and promote industry and domestic production to their
maximum capacity, within the framework of
policies for the replacement of imports and the transformation of our economic
model,” he said through his Telegram channel where he shared
an audiovisual of the day.
He also highlighted that the company located in
the populous parish of Caracas manufactures “school and sports shoes for
the School Plan and Plan Z, as well as
industrial and safety footwear for public and private organizations.”
He highlighted that the company Footwear Discovery also uses national materials, cutting-edge technology and works in synergy with productive units in the community.
“This company strengthens the links with the community economy and is a sign that no criminal blockade can stop the development and advance of Venezuela,” he said.
