The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, condemned the statements of the Minister of Housing of Trinidad and Tobago, Phillip Edward Alexander, that promote an attack against Venezuela.
“The only nuclear bomb fell in the brain of this newcomer to the government. Trinidad and Tobago should think about its people before attempting to attack Venezuela, and desist from its vassalage to the U.S. government that seeks to steal our immense energy wealth,” he said through his Telegram channel.
In that sense, he reaffirmed the resistance of the Venezuelan people to the attacks of imperialism and its lackeys. “They have not been able and will not be able to with our determination to freedom and self-determination, exercised extensively in our peace diplomacy,” he said.
Through his social networks, the Minister of Housing of Trinidad and Tobago, Phillip Edward Alexander, threatened Venezuela, suggesting that the Indian government would “attack with nuclear weapons” our country in supposed defense of the Caribbean island.
