Workshop on the Formulation of Cinematographic Projects began at CELARG

With massive participation, the National Autonomous Center for Cinematography (CNAC) began the Workshop on the Formulation of Cinematographic Projects with the first module corresponding to screenwriting, at the facilities of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies Rómulo Gallegos (CELARG).
This first module, led by José Antonio Varela and screenwriter Rafael Pino, achieved an important call with 815 enrolled in the face-to-face and virtual modalities.
During the training day, Varela and Pino addressed the foundations of production, the conceptualization of ideas, the dramatic structure and the essential techniques for screenwriting. With a vital focus on encouraging participants in narrative skills, all necessary to transform an idea into a structured audiovisual proposal.
The program lasts 36 academic hours, distributed in seven modules that cover the process of audiovisual production, the conception of ideas, as well as legal and financial aspects.
The development of the workshop, which aims to empower participants to transform their ideas and creations into film projects, will run until next Thursday, October 9, with the following modules:
Module 3 — Production: Directed by the producer Moraima Mora.
Module 4 — Cinematographic Appraisal: By director José Antonio Varela.
Module 5 — Direction: Taught by director Pablo de la Barra.
Module 6 — Legal Aspects: With the participation of lawyers Priscila Guía and María Alejandra Sierra.
Module 7 — Encouragement to Creation: On the requirements of the Internal Regulations for the Encouragement and Promotion of Cinematographic Creation and Production (RIEFCPC), by Yenny Sira and Verónica Egañez.
The CNAC invited the community to follow closely the next stages of the workshop and the training activities that contribute to the enrichment and development of Venezuelan cinematography.
