After the first National Youth Consultation, a group of young people from the Sucre municipality of the state of Aragua are already implementing the socio-productive project approved in that consultation, because it is an innovative project, a mobile water purification plant, which benefits 4800 families from the 10 communities of the Villa del Caracol communal circuit.
Mayor Wilson Coy explained that this is the result of the July 27 process, where for the first time young people had the opportunity to propose and execute projects for their communities, “today we see the mobile water treatment plant completely completed, servicing 17 buildings in the La Haciendita sector and others in the central area, these are areas with very old people and young people who bring their water to the door of their house and if they allow it to the kitchen, it is 100% purified water”.
According to the young people, this is a socio-productive project that is being built up, seeing the efforts of the inhabitants to move to remote areas to buy the bottle of water, many of them carrying it on their shoulders, said José Santo Domingo, one of the
young people involved in the creation of the project, quoted by the local press.
