Yván Gil to the Argentine Foreign Minister: The terrorist plans they have tried to implement against our country failed

Argentine Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein personifies a historic shame for that people, since he is an emblem of looting, corruption and human misery, said the head of Venezuela's foreign relations portfolio, Yván Gil.

“Their shady track record doesn't start or end with money laundering. No, his true legacy lies in the fortunes amassed in the shadow of any opportunist government and under the complicity of the darkest dictatorship that devastated Argentina. That wealth he holds is imbued with the blood of tens of thousands of innocent people, murdered and tortured during the most tragic years in Argentine history,” Gil said in a message posted on Telegram.

In this regard, the foreign minister repudiated that Werthein intends, ignoring his dark history, to give moral lessons to Venezuela and its Public Powers.

“You, Mr. Werthein, do not have the morals to talk about Venezuela, and even less to question our Public Authorities and our Attorney General. Perhaps I should take some lessons in dignity, the one that the Wertheins, in decades of using Argentina, never had. The terrorist plans they have tried to implement against our country have failed utterly, just as any attempt to impose their hypocrisy and arrogance on us will fail,” the foreign minister said.
