ZODI Mérida personnel started sixth military paragliding course

Troops stationed in the Mérida Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) began the sixth military paragliding course, a specialized modality for reconnaissance on the battlefield.

This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander (CEO) of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, through a video posted on his X account where he stressed that with this course our olive green men and women are trained in advanced infiltration and aerial observation techniques, using paragliding as a strategic tool for obtaining vital information in complex environments.

“This elite training strengthens our intelligence and response capabilities, ensuring the protection of our sovereignty,” he said.
