1,800 high school graduates applied to study at the University of Health Sciences in Barinas

To date, the Hugo Chávez Frías University of Health Sciences (UCS), Barinas nucleus, has received 1,800 applications from high school graduates interested in studying in various National Training Programs (PNF).
The general director of UCS Barinas, Evelyn Uzcátegui, highlighted the receptivity on the part of young people, while reporting that among the PNFs available in this house of studies are: Integrative Community Medicine, Integrative Community Nursing, Bioanalysis, “Radioimaging, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Electromedicine and Biomedical Engineering.
In this regard, he stressed that these programs are designed to strengthen the National Public Health System (SPNS) and train professionals with a humanistic and quality vision.
To formalize enrollment, high school graduates must present their extended identity card, bachelor's degree, certified grades, OPSU certification, application for “My Doctor My Commune”, birth certificate and two passport-type photos.
The UCS reported that the first week of October will begin the introductory course for the selected students.
