Ambassador Remigio Ceballos presented Credentials to the President of Mongolia

Ambassador Remigio Ceballos Ichaso presented his Credential Letters to the President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaathe, to be accredited as Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to this country, concurrent from the People's Republic of China.

During the event, held at the Government Palace of Mongolia, Ceballos Ichaso received the greetings of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the commitment to work for a world of peace, multipolar, with equality and mutual respect.

At the end of the ceremony, the diplomat held a meeting with the foreign minister of the Asian nation, Battsetseg Batmunkh, who confirmed the will of the Bolivarian Government to strengthen political, cultural, educational, tourist, commercial and energy ties.

Ambassador Ceballos mentioned the potential of both nations in the mining and hydrocarbons issue, and stressed that this is an extraordinary opportunity to share in these fields of development.

For her part, the diplomat noted the process of openness that Mongolia is carrying out and her interest in expanding and deepening its relations.

Subsequently, the Venezuelan ambassador held a meeting with Anand Amgalan, director general of the Department of the Americas, Middle East and Oceania of the Foreign Ministry, with whom he spoke and announced the current situation in Venezuela, and thanked Mongolia for its support in international scenarios and organizations, in relation to the application of unilateral coercive measures (MCU), badly called sanctions, that the United States (USA) and its satellite countries impose on Venezuela and a third of the world's nations, thus curtailing free trade and sovereign relations between States, hindering and impeding the development of nations.
