During the extraordinary session this Wednesday, the National Assembly (AN) unanimously rejected
the rude and interventionist decision adopted by the Spanish extreme right in the Congress of Deputies of Spain due to the ignorance of the popular victory of Nicolás Maduro Moros, as Constitutional President.
“This decision is rude and embarrassing what the Spanish Congress of Deputies has just done to ignore the will of the Venezuelan people. I think this rude action falls short in the face of Spanish democracy, which has been battered for some time,” said MP Tania Díaz.
In this regard, he indicated that these actions by Spanish deputies are aimed at washing the face of the Venezuelan extreme right because of the shameful flight of Edmundo González Urrutia, who is in that European country.
He stressed that Spain's position is disrespectful to international diplomacy and to the participatory democracy of Venezuela.
“We don't need anyone's recognition, the Spanish Parliament looks bad, they never tire of making a fool of themselves,” he stressed.
“If only in Spain they would do this way of doing government, if only they would find out about a participatory and leading democracy,” he emphasized.
