Anti-Fascist International supports marches in defense of Argentinian rights

In a statement, the Anti-Fascist International expressed its firm support for the massive and combative Anti-Fascist and Anti-Racist Pride March in Argentina.
The letter highlights that “thousands of voices have united in a popular cry against the advance of fascism, the rejection of Javier Milei's exclusionary policies and in the unwavering defense of human dignity”.
“This historic day, replicated in cities in Europe and Latin America, was a strong expression of popular resistance in defense of rights conquered through struggle and sacrifice. Its message is clear: peoples will not give up nor will they allow the return of authoritarianism, hatred and repression,” he adds.
Finally, it condemns “exclusion, repression, exploitation and political violence against popular sectors and the historical struggles of peoples. We denounce the criminalization of social protest, attacks against the feminist movement, LGBTIQ+ communities and trade union sectors, as well as the dismantling of inclusion and social welfare policies in favor of oligarchic interests.”
