In the framework of the 21st International Book Fair of Venezuela (FILVEN) 2025, the bookLife, Thought and Work of Aristobulo Istúriz”, by Iraida Zamora, Yaritza Mota, Yeira Martínez, Ángel Quiñones and Efraín Valenzuela, was presented, which preserves the legacy of this man who is an obligatory reference in the country's educational and political life.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the three books are a work published by the International University of Communications (LAUICOM); “ABC of Bolivarian Life”, by Yaritza Mota, and “Aristobulo Istúriz, commune or nothing towards the new State”, by Zoraima Echenique and Jesús Méndez.

These are three books that barely “reveal what the legacy is, the profound contribution of Aristobulo Istúriz to the Bolivarian Revolution, to his country,” said the deputy to the National Assembly (AN) and rector of LAUICOM, Tania Díaz, accompanied by Yaritza Mota, Jesús Mendez and Aníbal Istúriz, brother of Aristobulo.

In the case of “Life, Thought and Work of Aristobulo Istúriz”, Díaz indicated that this collective publication “is an extraordinary work, a book that is too warm, very beautiful”, written by Venezuelan educators.

“Only teachers, as was always Aristobulo, who was proudly a teacher, proudly Afro, proudly Venezuelan, proudly Chavista and proudly militant of the Revolution (...) could make such a beautiful compilation, which is full of anecdotes of political depth, interviews and his personal life,” he said. At the same time, he thanked the authors and Dianora de Istúriz, wife of Aristobulo, who helped to feed this publication with her testimonies.

For his part, Aníbal Istúriz shared some anecdotes about his brother from his childhood in the town of Curiepe, Barlovento, Miranda state, to his career as a teacher and politician. “Seeing so many familiar faces, I really feel that Aristobulus is here with us,” he said.

Aristobulus “was 100% proud to be black and that's why that phrase from the big booger is welcome, because there's no way not to feel that; and whoever hasn't felt it, let him go to Curiepe on June 24 , to feel the blackness, to see how we blacks work there. Aristobulus there was the happiest man in the world,” he recalled.
