Bolivarian Government allocates more than 4,000 units of insulin

The Revolutionary Government, through the Unified Institute for Health of the State of Monagas (INSAMONAGAS), received 4,704 units of NPH insulin.

This is a day of care for patients registered in the endocrine metabolic program.

María Rebeca Gómez, coordinator of the state's Health Program, stressed that the arrival of these drugs represents significant relief for thousands of people from Monagua who rely on insulin to control their health condition, a regional press release reported.

The distribution is carried out through the Cardiovascular, Endocrine, Metabolic, Renal, Cancer and Anti-Smoking Health Program in the different areas of comprehensive community health (ASIC), which will facilitate access to patients in their respective communities.
