The Government of La Guaira, in coordination with the Ministry of People's Power for Public Works, began inspection and attention to ravines in the region as part of the 2025 Rain Plan.

With the arrival of the rainy season and in response to requests from the residents of Piedra Blanca, in Montesano, Carlos Soublette parish, inspections were carried out in the Curucutí ravine to assess its condition and plan preventive actions.

The Minister of Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, together with the Secretary of Public Security of La Guaira, Andrés Goncalves, led the inspection, responding to the call made by the inhabitants of the area to Governor José Alejandro Terán.

Ramírez said that dredging, cleaning and maintenance work will begin in the coming days, in order to reduce risks and improve the region's hydraulic infrastructure.

In addition to providing care for bankruptcies, the authorities monitored the progress of the Community Roof Plan, through which 22 blocks are rehabilitated in the La Soublette housing estate. To date, the recovery of 12 roofs with asphalt mantle has been completed, representing 50% of the current project.

With this initiative, the National and Regional Governments seek to guarantee security and well-being to Guaireña families, strengthening infrastructure and improving living conditions in the state.
