The Bolivarian Government, through the Yaracuy Bonito Foundation crews, began solid waste collection work on the Cimarrón Andresote Highway, specifically in the Cañizos section of the municipality of Veroes, as well as in Camunare Rojo and the Free Trade Zone of the municipality of Urachiche.
The tasks included the removal of waste with excavators, dump trucks, chainsaws and maintenance equipment, with the objective of cleaning and restoring the affected sections.
These actions are part of state waste management planning, framed by environmental sanitation policies developed in several municipalities.
So far, more than 300 kilos of waste have been collected in areas such as San Felipe, with the participation of organizations such as the Ministry of Ecosocialism, INPARQUES and community brigades. The strategy includes the provision of containers, the classification of reusable materials and working with local authorities to strengthen local waste management.
