The Bolivarian Government held a day of medical and psychological care for women deprived of their liberty from the National Institute for Women's Guidance ( INOF) and the La Crisálida Women's Penitentiary Training Center, both located in Los Teques, Miranda state.
During the activity, medical services were provided in
gynecology, dentistry and internal medicine, medications were also distributed and psychological counseling was
offered, with the objective of ensuring that women
deprived of their liberty have access to
decent physical and emotional health care, thus contributing to their comprehensive rehabilitation process,

“We are offering comprehensive health care and psychological
support, in addition to working with women defenders, with the
objective of guaranteeing women's rights and their comprehensive security,”
said María Carolina González, facilitator of the Prevention Department of the La Crisálida Penitentiary
Center.
The day was held thanks to the coordinated work between the Ministries of People's Power for the Penitentiary Service; for Women and Gender Equality and for Health.
