A total of 2,700 linear meters of pipes will be replaced in different communities in the city of Maracay, as part of a plan for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the wastewater network in the Girardot municipality of the state of Aragua.

This is the repair of seven collectors in response to the requests made by the community through the 1×10, as well as to the projects approved in the National Popular Consultation.

The 700 meter supply of corrugated PVC pipes reached Maracay thanks to the actions of the National Government and with them, local government personnel will carry out the first phase of the work involving San Carlos, Rio Blanco II and La Gallera (where the sewage network is non-existent), both belonging to the Pedro José Ovalles Parish, as well as in Lomas de Sinaí and other urban areas of the municipality.

To date, 33,600 meters of pipes have been replaced, equivalent to the distance between Maracay and La Victoria, through shared tasks between HIDROCENTRO and the different government bodies.
