This Saturday, La Cubana Park and the Aristobulo Istúriz Viewpoint were reopened in the Gramoven sector, Sucre parish in Caracas.

The head of Government of the Capital District (GDC), Nahum Fernández, during the unveiling of the bust in honor of Professor Aristobulo Istúriz, which was destroyed by vandals from the Venezuelan extreme right, was accompanied by relatives of the prominent political leader and teacher, as well as residents of the area.

After unveiling the bust, Fernández asserted that Istúriz made history in Venezuela, so his sculpture makes the Gramoven area the protagonist of this moment of the Fatherland.

The widow of Maestro Aristobulo, Carmen Dianora Martínez de Istúriz, thanked the capital's authorities for this space that dignifies communities and the eternal professor Cimarron.

“They are privileged to have a bust of this revolutionary, forgive me for saying it on behalf of the family, we are extremely grateful to the Government of the Capital District for this initiative and God bless this community because Aristobulus will be blessing them from heaven,” they concluded.
