Bolivarian Government treats diabetic patients in Barinas

The Bolivarian Government, through the state health department of Barinas, reported that a total of 3,500 people with diabetes are treated with treatment and the necessary medical control in the entity's health entities.

Eddy Rivero, state coordinator of the Metabolic Endocrine Program, confirmed that the official figure amounts to 3,550 patients. This figure includes 650 cases of Type I Diabetes and a registry of 2,340 people with Type II Diabetes, a press release detailed.

Rivero emphasized the commitment to maintaining rigorous monitoring of these patients in public offices and to ensuring the continuous delivery of their medications.

The specialist explained that care is provided in key centers such as the Popular Specialized Clinic La Cuatricentenaria, the CPE León Fortoul Saavedra, the La Concordia office and the Luis Razetti Hospital in the Barinas municipality.
