This Tuesday, November 11, the sectoral
vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace,
Diosdado Cabello Rondón, told the People's Power that the patrols, motorcycles and telephones
that the Peace Quadrants are equipped with belong to them.
“I strongly ask the People's Power, that these patrols go to the territory and they belong to you, those motorcycles belong to you,
that phone belongs to you, to the People's Power. That patrol cannot patrol where it doesn't belong, if it has four Community Circuits that
patrol those four, it doesn't have to go anywhere, unless it's
an emergency,” he said during the provision to the Peace Quadrants of the Guarenas-Guatire axes in Miranda.
He stressed that, in the face of any emergency, the
first one you should know is the Community Circuit. At the same time, he commented on
cases of vans patrolling outside his corresponding community; as
well as patrols that were handed over to communities and a mayor took them
off to put his name and stamps on him.
“I'm not lying to you, I'm telling you
the truth: I called the governor, the actions were taken, but he considered that
the patrol looked prettier if it had his name and if it had the name of his
mayor's office and he didn't put in any way. Is that correct? That's not right,
is that a responsible public official? He's not, he's an opportunist to
start with and they are the vices that we have to correct,” he said.
He emphasized that these defects must be corrected
by the People, who must not allow patrols to leave their Community Circuits.
In turn, he referred to the opposition mayor of the Zamora
municipality, who did not want to join the activity. “I told the governor
to take office, because if the mayor of Zamora does not want to
join these tasks, which are for the safety of the citizens of Zamora, he
has to do it to the governor. So we supported the governor and I hand
this patrol to the governor,” he said.
He reaffirmed that security is everyone's problem. “I don't understand that, they isolate themselves as security is just a problem of the national State or of the governor, no, the first responsible are local governments, but they act crazy, they don't like to assume their responsibility, is that going to prevent us from deploying ourselves in the municipality? Not at all We have a responsibility to the inhabitants of the municipality of Zamora, with their tranquility and peace,” he said.
