This Wednesday, September 17, the sectoral vice president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, asserted that the false-flag operation that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intended to set up against Venezuela was dismantled.

“That drug boat was a false flag operation by the DEA to accuse Venezuela. Four detainees with Venezuelan identification cards were going to come out; they are counting that,” he said and specified that these four citizens were captured during the operation.

He specified that 3,680 kilograms of cocaine were seized. At the same time, he indicated that the drug operator is a man identified as Levi Enrique López Batis, a DEA agent, a drug trafficker, who has ties to Jercio Parra Machado, who operates from La Guajira in Colombia.

“This guy (Levi Enrique López Batis) was lending himself to this and we received the information and we started doing the job properly and successfully; for us the most important thing is that we managed to capture 3,680 kilograms of cocaine, four individuals and we have fully identified who sent the drug and why he sent it,” he said.

He also emphasized that this is part of their campaign against Venezuela to accuse it of any barbarity. At the same time, he pointed out that the national security forces carried out this operation in compliance with all the corresponding protocols in perfect popular-military-police fusion.
