The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the participation of youth in the candidacies for mayoral elections on July 27.

The leader of the ruling party indicated that although the Constitution establishes that for mayoral offices the minimum age must be 25, the participation of young people in the application process was high.

In that sense, he assured that this is due to the fact that “Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro opened their doors to young people and never closed them”, while recalling the spaces opened by the Revolution for the formation of youth.

She also highlighted the role of women in the calls for action by the PSUV.
