Cabello: Hugo Chávez was shaped by the FANB

“The one who shaped the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) was Hugo Chávez,” said the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the installation of working groups in inter-institutional support for evangelical Christian churches.
Likewise, the minister stressed that “a child never received a transplant from Chávez; he stopped doing what he was doing to care for the children...”.
In this context, in an anecdotal way, Cabello recalled the importance of children for the Bolivarian leader, since “Chávez made us go beyond the barracks”.
“There is nothing that makes people happier than peace,” he said, and assured that the appearance of the Bolivarian leader prevented a civil war in Venezuela. “The arrival of Commander Chávez marked a turning point in a country where everything was being privatized.”
