Cabello: In Venezuela there is a direct democracy where the people rule

In Venezuela, there is true, direct democracy, where power resides with the people, said the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During the activation of Peace Quadrants in Miranda state, Cabello highlighted how popular consultations in the country have become an exercise in democracy where the population assumes decision-making to solve problems in their community.

“We here (the government) do what the people say,” he stressed, while explaining that this only happens in our country.

In the same way, Cabello emphasized that power refers to the ability to do, to resolve situations. “Power is for doing, not for privilege. This People with the Peace Quadrants will be able to do it,” he stressed.
