The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen
Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that Levi Enrique López is the
drug trafficker of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), who
was planning a false-flag operation against Venezuela.
“Levi Enrique López was in contact with
alias Cirilo, who is being held in Puerto Rico, a contact for the
DEA to carry out the false flag operation in Venezuela, through the use of a boat
loaded with drugs,” Cabello Rondón explained, during a press conference.
He also announced the arrest of four more
citizens: Joel Luis José Rodríguez Ramos, Jesús Antonio Quilarte Carreño,
Jhonny José Salazar Gutiérrez and Carlos Alberto Bravo Lemus, the latter of whom was
detained for seven years in Puerto Rico for drug trafficking. “Strangely enough, they didn't carry any kind of weapons, but they did carry their identity card,” he said.
“We capture them and bring them to
order in the courts with the evidence, we don't murder them, so
that later speculations, false positives, lies, deception, and cheating come,” said Cabello Rondón.
He asserted that the boat, loaded with 3,680 kilograms of cocaine, left Colombian territory, since
the boat's GPS is very clear. “We dealt a tremendous
blow, thanks to the patrolling, to the work, because they have used the same
drug trafficking route, which is the same route as Gideon for those who have any questions,” he said.
Cabello Rondón emphasized that it was a
clean, transparent, clear and crisp operation with a good result.
