Diosdado Cabello Rondón, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), recalled the fascist and violent actions promoted by María Corina Machado in order to destabilize the State.
“They went so far as to threaten people in their own homes; it's the hatred that María Corina Machado represents, primarily responsible for any hint of fascism in Venezuela,” said the first vice-president of the PSUV.
“It is not understood how they are capable of harming a human being, institutions and themselves,” Cabello questioned the fascist actions of the extreme right, adding that “they were recorded destroying an Integral Diagnostic Center (CDI), a statue of Simon Bolivar and Commander Hugo Chávez; it was like a war trophy”
He also recalled the murder of the militants in the state of Aragua and Bolívar “for political reasons, out of hate, they were threatened.” In this regard, he demanded that to date “they still threaten us every day”.
“We cannot let hate happen in Venezuela,” said Cabello, adding that “at this point the people are not going to allow this to happen; we have seen a lot of expressions since 2002.”
