This Wednesday, in statements to the media, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the attack by the United States (USA) on a tuna boat was carried out with pirate action, in an abusive and disproportionate manner.

“Since pirates from the Caribbean decided to rob that boat, they didn't have the cunning of one of those sailors who recorded everything; in the end, what they want to do is plant drugs on a Venezuelan boat, they are in need of that,” said Cabello.

In this context, he highlighted the disproportionate use of force by the United States, in desperation, and warned that “not only fishermen from Venezuela, but fishermen from any Caribbean area, have a death sentence. They create the heavenly court to impose itself on anyone, without trial, as they imposed it on millions of Iraqis.”

“One of the fishermen sent the information and we sent our own vessel. They were illegally, abusively, disproportionately detained,” said the sector's vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace.
