From the Plaza de la Juventud in Caracas, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Diosdado Cabello participated in the inauguration of the photographic exhibition of the book Ese es Mi Gallo Visual Chronicle of a Popular Epic. This is an exhibition consisting of 80 pieces that will be exhibited for all Venezuelans.
“History is important to remember. The opposition wants us to erase history and that Bolívar did not exist or any of the heroes and ancestors. What, why are we mad at the Spaniards if that was 500 years ago? And no, we are not angry, what we are saying is that there was a genocide here. That's the story,” he said while taking a tour of the exhibition that shows images of President Nicolás Maduro's campaign from the July 28 election.
Upon learning about the different chapters how they are divided, he stressed that this is a testimony for those who were not in the electoral campaign, of those who are outside.
“It's a symbol of what we feel and that captures a large number of moments from the campaign. I remember each of those activities,” he said.
