Cabello: Pueblo proposed more than 155,000 names for candidates in the 27J elections

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed that the People in the Popular Consultation nominated more than 155,000 names for candidates in the municipal elections on July 27.

“The popular consultation was held in 47,000 communities (...) and more than 155,000 names were proposed. Where did those names come from an office that we have? No, the People proposed it,” Cabello said during his Con El Mazo Dando No. 530 program.

He also reaffirmed that in the consultative meetings that took place last Saturday across the country, “colleagues from the Great Patriotic Pole, Social Movements, who wanted to participate, participated without any inconvenience”.

At the same time, he recalled that on Monday, 95% of the communities had already uploaded data on the men and women proposed by the People to the CC200 System.
