The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public
Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled this Wednesday,
November 12, the criminal violence that existed more than 25 years ago during the Fourth Republic in Venezuela.
“Miranda was the headquarters of the installation of
gangs for destabilization, that's not a lie, who wants to hide it to hide
it, but that's a great truth, 70 dead (counted weekly),
but before we even saw that a young man was being killed for a pair of
shoes,” he said during the Adaptation of the Peace Quadrants in the Altos Mirandinos.
He pointed out that in Venezuela during the Fourth
Republic you could even read “newspaper headlines of 45 dead in
Caracas on a weekend; whoever wants to check the story to see what
things were like here 30 years ago.”
In addition, he indicated that by investigating they can see who provided the logistical and operational base to these criminal gangs linked to sectors of the extreme right, pointing out that one was recently dismantled in the Sucre municipality of the Mirandina entity, in the Petare sector, as part of the frontal fight that President Nicolás Maduro has taken against these criminal groups.
