The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the press conference of the National Directorate of this political organization, this Monday, rejected the violence unleashed in Chile against the social movements that demonstrated on Sunday to pay tribute to the victims of the Augusto Pinochet dictatorship.

Cabello, assured that the government of Gabriel Boric, in Chile, “is not interested and does not want to hear the voice of the people.”

In this regard, he assured that “here in Venezuela we have asked that the People have greater power and that the voice of the People be heard in every corner.”

Several people and media outlets have denounced, through social networks, the Boric government's repression against people, who were walking peacefully.

According to the demonstrators, the water launchers and the police arrived at the scene throwing tear gas, leaving one injured so far.
