The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the installation of the working groups in support of evangelical Christian churches, stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution has been seeking the equality of the people for 26 years.
In that regard, he added that despite the differences, the Revolution has been in a “continuous process of reunion between Venezuelans and Venezuelan women, regardless of the differences that may exist of a religious, economic, social nature and any kind of difference, we have been seeking the equality of all Venezuelans and Venezuelans.”
Cabello said that “today Venezuelan society requires the participation of all sectors,” and highlighted the ability of human beings to communicate with God through prayer, regardless of the religion they practice.
He also recalled that it was Commander Hugo Chávez who opened spaces at the Military Academy for religions other than the Catholic one, while questioning how the right wing has been responsible for demonizing left-wing movements in the world.
“That's part of the work of other religious institutions that have been responsible for doing that work, they have been responsible for doing that work,” he added.
