The sectoral vice president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, urged security officials to be identified with their names, license plates and police force to which they belong so that the people feel safe and know who provided their care.

“Everyone identified, everyone has to be identified (...) for people to know; for example, the civil servant Rafael Lacava attended to me, such a sign. And where does Rafael Lacava work? At point 38 and there are all the data of those who work on 38,” said Cabello during the inauguration of the headquarters of the Secretariat of Public Security in Carabobo .

He reaffirmed that the identification of police officers will make it possible to reduce “extortion, crimes in the area, those who unfortunately intend or have intended to join gangs are going to be surrounded”.

He emphasized that in 2025 the Bolivarian Government of President Nicolás Maduro has considered ending criminal gangs.

“This is what we have proposed in 2025, and this is what it will do, when we close 2025 here there will be no gangs anywhere and we ask those people who operate in criminal groups, that they are in time to take orders from the authorities to solve their problem; because we have the security of all Venezuelans above these criminal groups and therefore we are obliged to act,” he emphasized.

For this reason, he reaffirmed that the new headquarters of the Secretariat of Public Security of Carabobo is a powerful tool to provide security and greater protection to the People. At the same time, he called on everyone who wants to work for Venezuela to do so from these spaces.

“You, sir who are at home, who feel that the time has come to work for Venezuela, come here, no matter what party you belong to, this is open to everyone 24 hours a day, there are people here on duty every day,” he said.
