Cabello: Today Venezuela stands before the world as the political vanguard of a different model

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the commemorative ceremony of the 33rd anniversary of the Civic-Military Rebellion, assured that today the nation stands before the world as the political vanguard of a different model.

From the Mountain Barracks, where the mortal remains of Commander Hugo Chávez rest, Cabello highlighted the strength of the Venezuelan people, who have endured the onslaught of unilateral coercive measures under the fundamental direction of President Nicolás Maduro.

In that sense, he specified that “internal and external enemies feel people with dignity in this country and they have no choice but to respect us, we are not kneeling before anyone”.

“Today here we are recharged with energy with Chávez, because he is there, we can feel his strength and his orders (...) Chávez inspires us, gives us strength and commits us. 33 years later, without a doubt, and as the Commander said, we have a Homeland, 40 years ago, there was no Homeland here,” he emphasized.

He also indicated that “the artisan people, together with a leader, began to mend the Homeland. Today the Homeland is strengthened, today the Fatherland stands before the world as the political vanguard of a different model, a model that puts the human being first.
