Cabello: Venezuela has seized more than 60 tons of drugs this year

This Wednesday, September 17, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that Venezuela has seized a total of 60,070 kilograms of drugs in different operations this year.

“Venezuela, at this time this year, has captured a total of 60,070 kilograms of drugs, 60 tons of drugs in different operations; and the month of September has not yet ended; while we are talking here, we are in other operations to continue capturing drugs,” he said at a press conference.

He specified that this is the largest amount of drugs seized since 2010, which is coincidentally the six comparative years in which Venezuela broke relations with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
