The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the will to defend participatory and proactive democracy that exists within the Bolivarian Revolution.

“We defend democracy where the People are in power, where the People are in charge,” he emphasized, while contrasting this with the model of democracy defended by the Venezuelan right.

“The democracy that allows them to steal, the democracy that allows them to assassinate, the democracy that allows them to appropriate the country's assets, that's the democracy they defend, that's the democracy that La Sayona, Leopoldo López, Capriles and all of them defend,” he said.

During the 552 broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program, he reiterated his condemnation of the campaigns promoted by opposition extremism, led by María Corina Machado, against the country's sovereignty and against Venezuelans who are in other countries.

No one is chasing them here!

In this regard, he dismissed the accusations made by spokespersons and longliners of extremism against the Bolivarian Government regarding the treatment given to returning migrants thanks to the initiative of President Nicolás Maduro of the Mission Back to the Fatherland.

“We work tirelessly so that everyone can return to a free and safe Venezuela. They are going to return to Venezuela and they are going to return in Revolution because here they are going to find a government that is not persecuting them,” he said while announcing the return of another 279 Venezuelans, “brought by the madman of Nicolás Maduro,” he ironized.

He recalled that opposition extremism was the promoter of the campaign that condemned Venezuelans living in the United States (USA) to being subject to persecution by the government of the North American nation.

The coba of the American dream!

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace recalled how opposition extremism promoted the migration of Venezuelans, whom he is now abandoning at the mercy of xenophobia and criminalization by the U.S. government.

He cited figures that indicate the economic and social decline facing the North American nation, warning that “the American dream is pure coba.”

“In 2025, when the dying U.S. empire has 347,927,768 inhabitants, 1% of the affluent population accounts for 70% of the national wealth and 74 million Americans (21%) are at risk of being left without a daily plate of food. This is thanks to government policies that allocate $997 trillion to military spending, while the education system, sports fields, free municipal schools and social programs for general welfare are being dismantled,” he said.

Faced with this scenario, he remarked that “whoever wants to fall for the American dream should do it, but the reality is different”.

NYT says it: They weren't from the Aragua Train!

The Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also referred to the article published by the American newspaper New York Times in which he recognizes that none of the Venezuelans illegally sent to a maximum security prison in El Salvador belonged to the extinct criminal group known as the Aragua Train.

“Now they do believe that the narrative of the Aragua Train that the United States used to send 252 Venezuelans to a prison in El Salvador is false because the New York Times said so,” he complained and recalled that “we have been saying it in a thousand ways for years, that the Aragua Train is a narrative to attack migrants and the Bolivarian Government.”

In this regard, he did not hesitate to point out the accusations currently being made by the Bolivarian Government regarding María Corina Machado's links with drug trafficking and paramilitarism when this American newspaper affirms it.

“The world will believe La Sayona's link with Colombian and Ecuadorian drug trafficking when the New York Times says so,” he said.

PSUV together with the Community Councils and Communes!

The leader of the socialist tent highlighted the accompanying work carried out by the PSUV militancy to strengthen the organization of popular power structures throughout the country.

“Our party has been making extraordinary progress, vigorously and accompanying the formation of the Community Circuits, the Community Councils , the Communes,” he said.

He stressed that the PSUV must be the vanguard of all the processes that promote the Revolution. “There is a consultation and there the game is essential. The party is transversal to anything that happens in Venezuela, the party must be at the forefront of any situation in which the People expose themselves,” he said.
