Cabello: We must make an effort to cover most of the territory with cameras

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the importance of continuing with the implementation of cameras for the protection of the people.

“Prevention with cameras, we must make an effort to cover most of the territory with cameras. Mayors can talk to merchants who have cameras pointing to the streets,” Cabello said during the Activation of the Altos Mirandinos Peace Quadrants.

He highlighted the work of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) because, through cameras and their experience, they detect any irregularity.

“We must ensure that all cameras are connected to 911,” he said.

He assured that there have been false complaints that, thanks to surveillance and the camera system, it has been possible to deny this smear campaign.
