Cabello: Whoever wants to close the campaign and show strength has to bring more people into the Bolivar than the Revolution

“Whoever wants to close the campaign and demonstrate their strength has to bring in more people than those who are there (in the photo)”. This was stated by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, at the inauguration of the photographic exhibition of the book Ese Es My Rooster: Visual Chronicle of a Popular Epic.

From the Plaza de la Juventud in Caracas, the official stressed that “I remember the first time we did an event on Bolivar Avenue in 1998 and then how many times we filled Avenida Bolívar de Pueblo, it was filled by Commander Chávez with his strength and spirit.”

He added that “we have icons in these images, one of them is Bolívar Avenue. Here in Caracas, the only one who dared to do an act like they were done in those spaces was Hugo Chávez. No one from the opposition dares to come to Bolívar Avenue.”
